Help with Knock One Off: the Lock Screen card, iCloud sync, purchases and your data.
How do I finish a task from the Lock Screen?
Tap Done on the card on your Lock Screen. In the Dynamic Island, touch and hold the cat to expand it, then tap Done. The cat pushes the task away and the next one appears.
Why did the card disappear from my Lock Screen?
iOS limits how long a Live Activity can stay: up to 8 hours active, then up to 4 more hours on the Lock Screen before the system removes it. Open the app or add a task and the card comes back. To keep it up all day, open Settings › Keep it on all day in the app: it walks you through a Shortcuts automation that shows the card again at 8:00, 14:00 and 20:00.
The card doesn't show up at all.
Check that Show on Lock Screen is on in the app's Settings. If it says Turned off in system settings, open the iPhone Settings app › Knock One Off and turn on Live Activities.
Can I keep the task text private on the Lock Screen?
Yes. Turn on Hide task text in Settings. The card then shows only how many tasks are left.
What does it look like in the Dynamic Island or on a Mac?
In the Dynamic Island you see the cat's head and the number of tasks left. If your Mac shows iPhone Live Activities in its menu bar (iPhone Mirroring on macOS Tahoe), the same small cat head appears there.
Will it send me notifications?
Not by default. If you want a nudge for tasks with a time, turn on Alert at the set time. It rings once, and only for timed tasks.
How do I skip a repeating task just once?
Open the task and choose Skip this time. It comes back on its next date.
How does iCloud sync work?
It's off until you turn on Sync with iCloud in Settings. Then iPhones signed in to the same Apple Account share the same tasks through your own iCloud. We never see them.
Is Collect Them All a subscription?
No. It's a one-time purchase that unlocks all 12 cats and 5 places, plus any added later. Family Sharing is supported.
How do I delete my data?
Delete single tasks from the edit screen, or clear fallen ones with Throw all away under the table. Deleting the app removes everything on the iPhone. If you use iCloud sync, delete the tasks while sync is still on so other iPhones get the change too.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone with iOS 18 or later.
Restoring your purchase
Signed in with the Apple Account you bought with, open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchase. The button is also on the Collect Them All screen. Family members using Family Sharing can restore it the same way.
